Short answer

The official listing says ESCAPE unlocks after the campaign and contains ten long maps, some up to 158 screens wide. It has no timer, no collectibles, and no way back, so route commitment becomes the central problem.

How ESCAPE differs from Campaign.

ESCAPE is not simply a longer campaign room. It changes the route rules: no clock and no collectibles, but a long exit path and a shadow that follows half a second behind.

UnlockAfter campaignThe developer says to complete Campaign first.
Scope10 mapsSome maps reach 158 screens wide.
RiskNo way backA failed route can invalidate more progress than a timed room.

First ESCAPE route checklist.

  1. Confirm the mode unlock.Complete the Campaign; the developer describes ESCAPE as the post-campaign mode.
  2. Read the whole line.Keep moving while reading the next obstacle. No timer does not make stopping safe: the shadow follows only half a second behind.
  3. Protect the shadow gap.The listing describes a half-second shadow delay here; avoid reversing into your previous line.
  4. Mark irreversible turns.Look for the next forward landing before turning back toward a path the shadow is replaying.

ESCAPE 10: the hidden drop after the climb.

Community report — PC Steam, 21 September 2026. Varvar’s illustrated ESCAPE 10 guide describes this route:

  1. Climb first.Follow the initial climb until the floor moves out of view.
  2. Match the screenshot, then drop.At the position shown in the original guide’s screenshot, jump down. The author reports being teleported upward.
  3. Continue from the teleport.Continue straight from the arrival point. The author says the ordinary path instead reaches a question-mark endpoint.

Compare the original screenshot before attempting the drop: the text does not establish an exact key sequence or frame timing. If you are not teleported, check your position against that image. We have not independently reproduced the route. This is ESCAPE map 10, not Campaign Room 10; the endpoint is not a confirmed official “bad ending.”

Other map coverage.

Apart from the community report above, map-specific routes and hazard timings are not verified in this guide. Steam does confirm NOWHERE LEFT TO RUN for completing all ten maps; see the achievement list for the published requirement.
